Every find grows by a sixth of its starting value each hour after the crop sprouts, up to a cap of 20% of the pot. A truffle picked late is worth far more than one picked at eight. But every hour you wait, someone else might take that spot first.

One season, fourteen mornings.
A new crop sprouts every morning for 14 days. Whatever isn't picked rots at the reset. When the season ends, whatever is left in the pot goes to the largest single find of the season.
